Sizu wont release physical albums soon

(MENAFN- The Moon News) Bangladeshi Popular singer Sizu won’t be releasing physical albums in the near future. The singer observed that music lovers prefer online streaming platforms to physical CDs nowadays as online platforms can be accessed easily and offer an overabundance of choices.

‘There was a time when music lovers waited with anticipation for years for the new album of their favorite singer. Back then the internet wasn’t widely used in the country so there was no alternative to buying physical albums. As the number of internet users gradually increased in the country, physical album sales dropped as music lovers began browsing YouTube for listening to songs,’ Sizu told New Age.

‘So I have decided not to release physical albums in the near future. I am producing music videos and releasing those on my YouTube channel nowadays,’ added Sizu.

Sizu released a new music video titled ‘Took Took Look’ on his official YouTube channel named ‘Sizu’ on Thursday. It was released under the banner of HW Production. The 3-minute music video has garnered over 1,44,000 views till Monday.

The song has been written by Sizu. Sizu himself composed the music and acted in the video, which has been directed by Md Jihad Hasan.

‘I finished the music video within five days. I shot it at my home studio with the help of three crew members. The video has received a huge response from music lovers. I want to thank all my fans for their support,’ said Sizu.

Sizu has been staying at home amid the COVID-19 outbreak and not going outside unless it’s an emergency. He has been spending the time readying songs. He prepared 10 songs during the general holiday.

‘I have 10 songs in the pipeline which I will be releasing in the coming days. I prepared those songs at home during the general holiday. I consider this a huge achievement. I hope music lovers will enjoy the songs,’ Sizu uttered.
Sizu also shared his thoughts on the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

‘The COVID-19 outbreak has forced us to make lifestyle and behavior changes. If we want to protect ourselves from the virus, we have to practice hygiene, wash hands with soap regularly, wear masks and maintain social distancing. The outbreak has been a wake-up call for us. The time has come to reflect on our life and behavior,’ mentioned Sizu.

‘I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the people who are fighting COVID-19 on the front line. I also urge music lovers to follow health directives, not to go outside unless it’s an emergency and maintain social distancing. I hope the crisis will end soon and things will go back to normal,’ ended Sizu.
