Pakistan: Bus collision leaves 13 dead in Punjab


(MENAFN)Rescue officials and local media stated that on Monday night, May. 3 a traffic accident in Attock region of Pakistan's eastern Punjab province left 13 people dead and wounded another 25.

A passenger bus capsized close to Burhan Interchange at the motorway in Hassan Abdal locale of the district, killing 13 people and wounding another 25, said officials from the Rescue 1122 to media.

Rescue teams and police hurried to the scene and moved the bodies and the wounded to a hospital in Hassan Abdal.

The majority of the wounded sustained severe wounds and were in grave condition, said hospital officials as cited by local media. The dead comprise a woman and a child.
