(MENAFN)Authorities aim to construct 1,000 miniparks in the city of Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, by 2022.
Miniparks refer to parks that cover less than 10,000 square meters in region. They typically mark vegetation, seating and exercise eases to present the public a space in which to rest, socialize and relax.
The miniparks will cover nine regions in Shenyang to augment the city's green space coverage.
Building is already underway for 300 miniparks, and authorities are illustrating arrangements for the remaining sites.
