Björn holds a master's degree in International Environmental Science from Lund University and is currently a PhD student at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University. His research focuses on implementation of nature-based solutions as part of urban governance and transformations towards sustainable urban development and climate change adaptation. He finds the interface between experimentation and ordinary formal planning processes particularly interesting. Before starting his PhD he worked for more than 10 years with urban planning and sustainable development in the city of Malmö, Sweden.
