Saudi- Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Calls on Factories that are Outside Industrial Cities to Correct their Situation


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, April 19, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources called on all factories located outside the industrial cities and classified environmentally within the first, second and third categories, to quickly correct their situations by renewing and completing all licenses and requirements from relevant authorities in order to enhance the industrial investment environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry stressed that if the industrial establishment does not obtain the required permits within a year, which include licenses of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources will not provide its services to the violating establishments.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry's measures come in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and the initiatives of the National Transformation Plan that aims to encourage industrial investments.
