TUNIS, April 8 (KUNA) -- Tunisia's Ministry of Health said Thursday that 49 patients succumbed to COVID-19 and 1,833 others tested positive for the disease in the past 24 hours.
Total infections and deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic came to 266,827 and 9,136 respectively, the ministry said in a statement. Overall recoveries climbed to 222,461, it added. (end)
