Riyadh, February 18, 2021, SPA -- The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) foretasted the weather for today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as thunderstorms from moderate to heavy accompanied by active surface winds in the regions of Qassim, Makkah, Riyadh, Eastern, Medina, Jazan, Assir, Al-Baha, and Najran.
In its report, the NCM stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-45 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southeasterly to southerly at speed of 18-45 km/h.
