Afghanistan- Policeman shot dead in the Afghan capital

    Security sources said a policeman and two civilians were assassinated in the Bagrami district of Kabul province after unknown gunmen opened fire on them.

    The source added that the incident occurred at around 7:40 am in the​ Hussain Khel area in Bagrami district.

    According to the reports identities of the killed civilians are still undetermined, and the motive behind the attack remains unknown.

    According to sources an investigation is ongoing in regards to the incident.

    No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.

    Meanwhile, Local sources in Daikundi province reported that five ANA soldiers were killed when an ANA vehicle collided with a roadside mine in Daikundi province.

    Ghairat Ali, a member of Daikundi Provincial Council, told the media on Wednesday, that the incident took place in the area of '​​Tangi Suf and Kariz' in the Kajran district of Daikundi province.

    Five ANA soldiers are said to have been killed and two others including the company commander are wounded in the incident.

    Local sources indicated that four ANA soldiers were killed and four others were injured in the incident.

    In another incident, The Ministry of Defense said Afghan national defense forces arrested two members of the Daesh group in Kunar province.

    The Ministry of Defense stated on Wednesday that the two members of Daesh members were detained in the Narang district of Kunar province.

    Both of the detainees played key roles in activities such as kidnapping, extortion, and were involved in various 'terrorist activities in the province.

    Security forces also seized a Motorbike, ammunition, and some weapons during the operation.

    Despite the efforts for peace, insecurity across Afghanistan has raged, and criminal cases have started appearing on daily basis.

    Earlier, On Tuesday night one person was killed and further two others were wounded when passengers in a bus clashed with robbers in Bagrami district of Kabul city.
