Palestinian fired, killed after attempting to knife soldier


(MENAFN) According to the military, on Sunday, Jan. 31, Israeli troops fired and killed a Palestinian after he tried to knife a soldier in a West Bank crossroad.

The occurrence happened at the Gush Etzion Junction, a crossroad in a key settlement community south of Jerusalem.

An Israeli forces representative published a photo of three kitchen knives fastened to a stick, stating it was utilized for the attempted assault.

Video recording came out on Israeli media demonstrated the suspect taking an object from his pocket and beginning to run to the direction of a soldier before being fired and falling to the ground.
