Qatar- Spring 2021 semester at QU begins with distance learning

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Spring 2021 semester at Qatar University (QU) has kicked off with the distance education system as a precaution against the coronavirus. QU's Vice-President for Student Affairs, Dr. Iman Mostafawi, welcomed the new batch of students admitted to various colleges by wishing them a distinguished and stimulating university life to achieve their goals.

She emphasised that all students should strive hard from the first day of the semester to acquire knowledge and personal skills as the university provides them with many development opportunities and support, whether at the academic level or extra-curricular programmes. She added that the university continues to support its students during their educational journey by developing, enhancing, and improving student services quality.

QU is keen on overcoming difficulties and solving problems that some students may encounter during the beginning of the semester, such as problems while registering for courses and providing services from a distance education system. She noted that the service providers, academic advisers, and various colleges do their best to help students during this important period of the semester.
