Armenia to replace Turkish goods with Iranian products in its markets


(MENAFN)Turkey had seriously backed Azerbaijan, more extending the historical conflict amid both neighbors, in Armenia’s 44-day conflict with Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

A decision for barring the imports of Turkish commodities as of December 31, 2020 was proclaimed on October 20, 2020 by the Armenian government.

Armenia currently came on at to the Islamic Republic to reinstate Turkish goods with Iranian products in its markets. This gave a new opportunity for Iranian producers to have a significant attendance in this market and change the brief opportunity into a permanent trade bond amid both countries.
