Morocco lists 33 virus-induced deaths, 1,005 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of health said Sunday that 33 more people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,005 others contracted the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the overall tally to 7,485 deaths and 443,146 infections.
The recoveries surged by 1,225 to 413,393, the ministry said in its daily update, putting hospitalizations at 22,268, including 1,102 ICU occupants. (end)
