(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The State of Qatar participated in the 30th meeting of Their Excellencies Ministers of Justice in the GCC countries, which was held on Wednesday via video conferencing.
The State of Qatar's delegation to the meeting was headed by HE the Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad al Jafali Al Nuaimi.
The meeting dealt with a number of draft laws and guiding regulations, in addition to a number of agreements, including the agreement on extradition of accused and convicted persons between GCC countries.
The development of the GCC Convention for the Execution of Judgments, Delegations and Judicial Notifications, as well as the reports of the committees concerned with cooperation projects between the ministries of justice in the GCC countries were also discussed during the meeting. (QNA)
