(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 3 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday received sincere felicitations from Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) Director General Dr. Samira Al-Sayed Omar on assuming power.
In a press statement, she said that "His Highness the Amir is the best successor of the best predecessor", lauding the stances by the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his continued support to scientific research in Kuwait.
She wished success to His Highness the Amir so as to continue the path of development and construction in all fields.
The KISR's researchers and staff vowed to obey His Highness the Amir and continue scientific research as well as make achievements to benefit Kuwaiti people, she added.
Omar confirmed that the political leadership has been supporting greatly, and paying attention to, the research and scientific institutions in Kuwait. (end)
