The Qatari health Ministry said on Sunday that 271 more coronavirus cases were reported in the country, which has increased the total coronavirus infections across the country to 115,080.
The official Qatar News Agency quoted a statement released by the ministry saying that "Some 289 people recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 111,794, while one person died, raising the fatalities to 193".
Health authorities in Qatar have carried out a total of 551,273 coronavirus tests across the country for now.
Qatar and China have both supported each other with providing help during the battle against the coronavirus outbreak.
