(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, July 20 (KUNA) -- Syria declared on Monday that 26 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19, raising the country's total infections to 522 cases.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the coronavirus killed four people in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 29 cases.
Syria announced its first case of coronavirus on March 22, while the first fatality was in the same month. (end)
