(MENAFN) According to a report by IRNA, every 12 minutes, one Iranian dies by the novel COVID-19, as said by Iran's health ministry.
Kianush Jahanpur, head of Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Health and Medical Education said that, in the past days, the coronavirus infection has increased in the capital Tehran and some other Iranian provinces.
Kianush Jahanpur also said that, the rate of infection in Tehran is recently 13 percent, while the provinces of Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi and East Azarbaijan have recently seen increasing infection in addition to more causalities.
According to the health ministry, the infection of 24,811 people with COVID-19, of whom 1,934 have died.
