(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka : Saudia Cargo announced the launch of its new cargo marketing and sales office in Dhaka following the increasing demand of air freight services in the country's garment export industry.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the new Gulshan premises where officials from Saudia Cargo Regional Management and its Cargo GSA were present.
Vikram Vohra, Regional Director-Asia Pacific, Saudia Cargo, said, "We are very pleased to open our newest sales office in Dhaka. Bangladesh is a key market for Saudia Cargo, from where we serve the growing export fashion and retail segment. We saw it necessary to move into a more efficient and larger workspace and increase the number of our dedicated sales and service team members, in order to provide better service to our clients. With the opening of this new office, we wish to showcase our commitment to our Dhaka clients."
Saudia Cargo has always been an important partner of Bangladesh in safely transporting its manufactured clothing products to Europe, United States and other countries worldwide.
With its own fleet of modern freighters serving more than 20 cargo destinations, Saudia Cargo also has access to the belly-hold of Saudi Arabian Airlines' fleet of 127 planes serving more than 52 routes across four continents.
