(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Army on Thursday announced promoting Major General Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah as deputy chairperson of the army chairmanship of staff with the Lieutenant General rank.
The Army said in a statement that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated the Lieutenant General on the occasion for the confidence accorded to him by His Highness the Amir.
The promotion ceremony was attended by the Kuwaiti Army Chief of General Staff Lieut. Gen. Mohammad Al-Khudhur and members of the Defense Military Council. (end)
