Mutaz Essa Barshim is a Qatari athlete who is specialized in high jump. He holds the national and Asian records in high jump. He won a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics in London and at the 2019 World Championships in Athletics in Doha with the world record of 2.37 metres.
