(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi affirmed Tuesday his country's support of the political solution in Syria that preserves its territories and achieves peace.
The Egyptian president made remarks in a meeting with the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, during which recent regional developments and issues of common interest were tackled, the Egyptian presidency spokesperson Bassam Radhi said in a press release.
The spokesperson noted that both sides have agreed on the importance of facing regional challenges together.
"The two sides also discussed developments in Libya, and stressed on cooperating on settling its conflicts," he said.
On his part, the French foreign minister stressed on the strong bilateral ties with Egypt, and showed his country's keenness on developing such relation in ways that benefit both sides. (pickup previous)
