Boost in July's employment rate in Brazil


(MENAFN) Brazil's Ministry of Economy revealed a boost by 0.11 percent month-on-month in the country's employment rate during the seventh month of 2019, marking an increase for the fourth month in a row.

Last month, 1,331,189 people were employed in Brazil while 1,287,369 people lost their jobs to reflect an optimistic balance of 43,820 new jobs, as unveiled the General Registry of Admitted and Laid-Off Workers.

Statistics also showed that Brazil recorded a surge by 2.93 percent in its new job opportunities to see the opening of 461,411 jobs in July from June.

Civil construction witnessed 18,721 new employments while the services sector registered 8,948 hirings, with trade posting 4,887 and agriculture and livestock reporting 4,645.
