(MENAFN) FC Barcelona's attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho will be playing for German football club Bayern Munich under a loan agreement.
Bayern Munich has an option to purchase the 27-year-old Brazilian international, who agreed on a season-long loan agreement.
The player commented on the move: "this transfer into a new country, at one of the best clubs in Europe represents a new challenge."
"I am really looking forward to this. I have big goals like Bayern and I am convinced that I can achieve these together with my new teammates," Coutinho added.
