(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkish Interior Ministry stated that more than 400 terror suspects were detained in 29 provinces across Turkey in raids against PKK terror organization.
Turkey's Interior Ministry emphasized in a statement that at least 481 suspects were rounded up across Turkey including in southeastern Diyarbakir, Mardin and eastern Van provinces.
It added that the raids are still continuing in the area.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of approximately 40,000 people, including many women, children and infants.
