(MENAFN) Cement firms based in Saudi Arabia are enjoying solid performance in sales, marking the strength of the Saudi economy as well as the significance of the construction sector and contracting.
Overall sales by Saudi cement companies registered a 20 percent surge during the sixth month of this year on annual basis, official data revealed.
Statistics further unveiled that the cement sector in the Saudi stock market has been recording sharp price increases over the last few weeks.
This helped spur shares of each listed company in the sector to post a surge of as much as 60 percent during the period.
