Egypt seeks to boost bilateral relations with Serbia


(MENAFN) On Monday, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi emphasized that his country is determined in boosting mechanisms of cooperation with Serbia.

Sisi's made the comments during a meeting with visiting President of the Serbian National Assembly Maya Goykovich in Cairo.

President Sisi praised the historical ties between Egypt and Serbia that mark their 111th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties, Egyptian presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady affirmed in a statement.

Discussions during the meeting touched on the newest local and global developments of common interest along with ways of preserving stability and security in the region.
