Strong earthquake jolts Alaska


(MENAFN) The U.S. Geological Survey declared that an earthquake of a 5.6 magnitude has rattled 34 km west of Little Sitkin Island, Alaska, at 15:30:39 GMT on Sunday.

The epicenter was initially located at 51.889 degrees north latitude and 178.007 degrees east longitude.

Meanwhile, the earthquake hit 42.0 km deep into the ground.
