Omani Embassy in Pakistan warns against kidney transplantation


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman's Embassy in Islamabad has issued a warning against illegal kidney transplantation.

The embassy tweeted that kidney transplantation outside family in the country is a crime.

'Attention to Omani citizens wishing to visit the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for treatment purposes regarding the criminalisation of kidney transplantation outside family framework in Pakistani law,' the embassy tweeted.

It further stated that those involved in this crime shall face heavy penalty and punishment. 'This endangers the life of the patient because these surgeries are done in unhealthy and uninhabited places under mysterious circumstances.'
