(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- In response to the Royal Order of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Oman has succeeded in reaching an agreement with the relevant authorities in Sanaa on the status of Brig Faisal Rajab.
The agreement allows Brig Rajab to communicate with his family for the first time since he was taken into custody about five years ago.
This is part of humanitarian efforts in the Republic of Yemen and in response to requests from the United Nations and several Yemeni parties.
Oman hopes to work on this success to resolve the status of all prisoners and missing persons in Yemen.
