Kuwait calls for boosting investments among members of Islamic bank


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MARRAKECH, Morocco, April 5 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti ambassador to Morocco Abdulatif Al-Yahya affirmed on Friday necessity of encouraging investments among member states of the Islamic Development Bank Group.
Ambassador Al-Yahya, who was speaking on margins of the main meeting of the 44th session of the bank board of governors, expressed pride that Kuwait is among the leading states in the field of Islamic money exchange.
Meanwhile, the envoy noted significance of the Moroccan-Kuwaiti Supreme Committee meeting, due in Kuwait on Tuesday, indicating that the commission would tackle economic cooperation and means of boosting coordination between the two countries at this level. (end) jk.rk
