SANDY, Utah - April 3, 2019 - PRLog -- Monique Coleman is an actor, producer, and global youth advocate. She is most recognized as Taylor McKessie in Disney's High School Musical franchise and she's known to many as the first-ever United Nations Youth Champion. During the International Year of Youth, Monique organized and funded a six-month global tour to 24 countries and raised awareness about the most pressing issues facing today's youth.

Monique tries to balance her work in entertainment with her passion for impacting the world. She stars in Season 3 of Guidance, previously streaming on go90, and appears in the recent indie films Broken Star and The Outdoorsman. She's also the founder and CEO of Motivated Productions. Her original series, Gimme Mo', is currently airing on Discovery Life. In 2019, catch Monique in Steppin' Back to Love on TV One, Somebody's Someone on Lifetime, and the indie films Phobias and The F Happened.

Monique is a longtime Champion for the UN Foundation's Girl Up Campaign and is the Allstate Foundation's Good Starts Young Ambassador. She most recently was honored with the Looking Ahead Award for community service.

Interviewed by Winn Claybaugh, Monique is clear about her purpose to use her celebrity and influence for causes she is passionate about, including the global water crisis, education for young girls, and much more. Monique's mantra, "Acting is my passion, advocacy is my purpose," navigates her MASTERS message about giving a voice to those who are "uncounted."
