Iran to boost South Pars phase 27


(MENAFN) Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh announced that the country is planning to boost the production capacity of South Pars.

Phase 27 of the joint South Pars Gas Complex will see renovations that allow the generation of 750 million cubic meters of sour gas per day, the Iranian oil minister affirmed.

Two projects are planned to commence in phase 14, and is expected to wrap up by next year, the oil minister noted.

Zanganeh added "currently, 2 of the 4 platforms in the 13th phase, and 2 out of 4 platforms of the 22nd, 23rd and 24th phases are ready for commission."
