EU approves Brexit delay until April 12 if no deal

(MENAFN) British Prime Minister Theresa May's appeal for a short Brexit delay was approved by the European Union (EU).

European Council President Donald Tusk announced the EU to have accepted a delay until May 22nd only if the House of Commons approved the prime minister's deal.

However, the European Council president assured, the EU will accept a delay until April 12 if parliament rejected the deal.

Tusk stated "all options remain on the table ... the U.K. government will still have a chance of a deal, not deal, a long extension or revoking Article 50."
