Ukraine conducts successful Turkish UAVs trials


(MENAFN) Ukraine's presidential press service announced that the country did not fail in a trial launched for Turkey's Bayraktar TB2 combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

According to the statement, Ukraine conducted the tests in western Khmelnytsky region with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko overseeing the process.

The president affirmed following the tests that the UAVs are assured to strengthen the Ukrainian military.

It comes two months after Ukrspecexport secured an acquisition deal with Baykar Makina for Bayraktar TB2.
