(MENAFN) Police said unidentified gunmen have shot dead a 25-year-old youth Monday in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
The youth was fired upon in village Reshipora-Tral of Pulwama district, 32 km south of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
A police officer said: "unidentified gunmen today shot dead a youth namely Mohsin Ahmad Wani here."
"He was fired from point-blank range. Despite being removed to the nearest hospital immediately, he succumbed on his way and was declared brought dead by doctors," he added.
