(MENAFN) A Russian government agency declared that a man planning a terror attack has been gunned down in Russia's Samara region.
The Russian National Anti-Terrorist Committee confirmed that the Russian Federal Security Service was informed Tuesday night that a terror suspect was sheltered in one of the houses near Ekaterinovka village in the Samara region.
During the raid, the man started shooting on law enforcement officers and threw a hand grenade.
He was shot dead soon afterwards, according to the committee.
