Doha: Allevia Medical Center, Al Gharafa unit was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdullah Nasser Ahmed Al Thani in the presence of special invitees and dignitaries from business houses, academic institutions, industrial partners, healthcare auditors, healthcare regulators and well-wishers. Allevia Medical Center, Al Gharafa Unit is the pilot project of Raf Health in Qatar.
Amongst the guests were Khalid, Director, Wellcare Group; Dr Sameer Moopen, CEO of Aster Qatar; Abdurahman, CEO of Carencare Group; Norman Wong, Lead Instructor at CNAQ); Mohammed Masood, Q Life & Medical Insurance; Gorazd Slivnik, Fysioline Oy, Finland; Jetty George, Pharmacare Group; as well as healthcare practioners from Wellcare Group, Aster DM Healthcare, Carencure Group, Pharmacare Group etc. The centre is invested with some of the best medical practitioners & caregivers, medical equipment, convenient and most advanced treatment rooms and technologies for the benefit of outpatients.
The centre currently operationalised departments of Internal Medicine, ENT, Dentistry, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Lab sample collection unit and Pharmacy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony Ashraf K P, Chairman of Raf Health said: 'The inauguration of the first medical centre of Allevia chain means a lot to us, as the development of a high quality medical system with cutting edge technology has long been our strong desire to contribute to the healthcare service of Qatar.
