(MENAFN) Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received this morning Assadullah Khalid, Acting Defence Minister of Afghanistan, as part of IDEX 2019.
The meeting, which was also joined by Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, touched on cooperation ties between UAE and Afghanistan and means to further enhance them in the defense field.
The parties also exchanged opinions on several issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was joined by high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Defence and the delegation accompanying the Afghan Minister.
