(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Senior Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Ravi Wijegunawardena, who was in charge of the Southern Province, has been temporarily transferred to the Police Headquarters, the Police media unit said today.
Wijegunawardena has been transferred to the Police Headquarters with effect from today on the instructions of the Inspector General of Police.
The National Police Commission has approved the transfer. (Colombo Gazette)
