Afghanistan: 4 militants die in security forces' raids


(MENAFN) Afghan Ministry of Interior Affairs declared that over 4 militants have died and a Taliban hideout was devastated after Afghan security forces launched a raid in eastern province of Paktika overnight.

The ministry added: "The raid was launched in Abdul Dara locality of Gomal district last night. Security forces also confiscated two militants' vehicles after the operation."

It confirmed that the security forces have not suffered any causality in the raid in the province, 155 km south of Kabul.

Riot has been escalating as Afghan security forces battle a raise in attacks by anti-government militants since the drawdown of foreign forces in the past four years.
