Kuwait oil price down 10 cents to USD 64.72 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down 10 cents to USD 64.72 per barrel (pb) Friday compared to USD 64.82 pb on the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.

Globally, oil prices increased yesterday, its highest since 2019 after a partial shutdown to a Saudi desert oil field and expectation of decline in supplies.

The price of the Brent Blend crude went up USD 1.86 cents to settle at USD 66.25 pb, the same case with West Texas Intermediate, which went up USD 1.18 to settle at USD 55.59 pb. (end) od.mb
