Corex has experienced a robust and steady operational growth in Ukraine which has prompted the opening of the new Kyiv location. After careful market analysis and as a response to increasing demand, the Company has determined that a strategically located depot with a full scope of logistics services would be the most logical next step. The opening also reinforces Company's commitment to further expanding its already significant footprint in the region.
Ukraine is the largest and 8th most populous European country with approximately 45 million inhabitants. Its clinical trials legislation is harmonized with respective EU directives and guidelines and the high quality of clinical trial data has been corroborated by the FDA and the EMA inspections. The recent political unrest, which has been geographically confined, has insulated only about 7% of the country's more than 600 clinical trial sites.
