Lebanon program to obtain USD4.2m donations from Finland


(MENAFN) Lebanon-based the "No Lost Generation" program is receiving USD4.2 million from Finland in donations.

UN International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) launched the program in Lebanon with a purpose to help safeguard children older than ten years old in the country.

UNICEF unveiled that "more than 7,000 children and youths, currently out of any form of learning and exposed to high risks of child labor and child marriage, will receive access to informal learning, psychosocial support, social assistance, and competency-based and life skill training."

The donation was confirmed to be paying more attended to the most vulnerable children living in 56 Lebanese municipalities.
