Singer Chris Brown faces rape allegation

(MENAFN) U.S singer Chris Brown claimed that a rape accusation against him is fake, one day after the French prosecutor's office declared he had been nabbed in Paris with two other suspects.
The French prosecutor's office confirmed that Brown, who is a U.S citizen, has been discharged from police custody as authorities were still probing the case.
The detentions were first recorded by Closer magazine, which revealed that Brown, his bodyguard and a friend were nabbed after a woman, aged 24, claimed she was raped at the singer's suite at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on the night of January 15.
Brown confirmed: "I wanna make it perfectly clear ... This is false."
He added: "For my daughter and my family, this is so disrespectful and is against my character and morals."
