Arab delegations begin to arrive in Beirut to attend economy summit

(MENAFN) On Friday, Arab delegations started to arrive in the Lebanese capital to participate in a Sunday economic development summit organized by the Arab League.

While most Arab countries sent delegations at the political level, only three out of 22 Arab leaders of state are set to take part in Sunday's conference.

What's more, there will be two notable absences.

Syria, whose Arab League membership has been suspended since 2011, did not receive invitation to participate in the event
