(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani instructed provision of USD 50 million worth of humanitarian assistance to the Syrian refugees and displaced during the harsh winter.
The donation will be used to provide urgent relief aid and development projects for Syrian refugees in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, as well as the internally displaced (IDPs), Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported Tuesday.
It said Qatar Development Fund would coordinate with White Helmets and UN agencies to disperse the donation. (end) nnd.bs
