Kuwait- 'MoE, MoH to deposit salaries this week'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: Head of Kuwait Teachers Society (KTS) Motee'a Al-Ajmi disclosed that salaries will be deposited into the accounts of Education Ministry staff in the course of the week, reports Al-Qabas daily. Also, knowledgeable health sources affirmed that salaries of health ministry staff for November will be disbursed within the same period.

Meanwhile, Acting Undersecretary of Public Education Affairs at Ministry of Education Fahad Al-Ghais has issued a decision to set Dec 30 as the tentative first day of the first semester examinations for the 12th grade students of science and arts majors, reports Aljarida daily.

According to the decision, the exams for the science major will end on Jan 9, and for arts major on Jan 10. In the meantime, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has decided to amend validity period of the English language test for company staff from six months to two years, reports Al-Anba daily.

As per a circular issued by Director of Training and Development Qosai Al-Amer, the decision affects employees who are due for promotion and those participating in overseas training courses. It will take effect from Nov 20,2018.
