King receives more cables of condolences over Dead Sea victims

Amman, Oct.29 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Monday, received more cables of condolences form various counties' leaders, in which they expressed their sorrow over the schoolchildren and other people who died in flash floods that swept the Dead Sea area on Thursday.

The King received a cable from Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashirm, Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Turkmenistan Kurban Guli Berdy Mammadov, Hungarian President Janusz Adir and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

King Abdullah also received cables from Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Senders of the cables expressed their countries' solidarity with Jordan's in various circumstances, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
