Bid to smuggle hashish, alcohol by an Egyptian foiled

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an Egyptian for trying to smuggle hashish and 4 bottles of alcohol into the country, reports Annahar daily.

The daily added, the Egyptian looked confused when he approached the inspection desk. The officers then seized four bottles of whisky from his baggage and four fingers of hashish from his trouser pocket. The contraband and the passenger have been referred to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control
