(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Police fired tear gas and water to disperse protesting university students at Ward Place today.
Ward Place was closed near the University Grants Commission (UGC) during the protest, resulting in a huge traffic block.
The Police later fired tear gas and used water cannons to disperse the students.
